Friday June 27, 2014

Friday was a big day at our house! This little man FINALLY, after months and months of physical therapy, started crawling!!!!! woo-hoo!!!!! He is so cute and sweet, and he is so happy and proud of himself for being mobile now. I love it!

We were all just playing in the play room/Tuckers room and he went for it! He had been doing these pivot moves for a few days, where he could move to where he wanted to go, but it was all over the place! :) And now he is an official crawler! woo-hoo!!!
So happy with himself:
We got Gomer out to join in the fun:
Then the kids went down for lunch and I brought lunch up to Gomer. He sat right on it and went to town...
Speaking of animals, we had this guy for a week again. My kids love him so much! And yes, I was sitting on the toilet going to the bathroom when I took this picture, because this is seriously how he would follow me in and sit in the bathroom waiting for me!
That afternoon we went to daddy's warehouse to pick him up and played on the forklift with him for a while.

Since it was the last Friday night before the kids and I would be leaving for Alabama for 3 weeks, I went on a hot date with my hubby! The sky was so amazing as we were driving out of our neighborhood:
I had asked my good friend, Katrina's oldest daughter, Riley to babysit. She is like 12.5 and so sweet. She brought games for them to play and had my house cleaned when we got home, and the sweetest, is that she left this little note for them when they woke up the next morning. So awesome!

Thursday June 26, 2014

Unfortunately, Taylor woke up like this on Thursday. Threw up a few times between 7-10 am. Slept in my bed while she did it. (of course) I was supposed to take my van in to new tires. So I waited to see how she was in the afternoon, and by noon she had perked right up. She was starving, so I started her on a few easy things. She was fine. So, we went to get new tires.
And this is how she dressed herself. I had to get a picture of it. Dress. T-shirt over dress. Leggings under dress. She didn't want to get cold! :)
We hung out at papa's while the tires were being changed. Went home after and just had a chill day at home. Luckily baby girl didn't get any more sick!

Thank you Lopez's for always being so generous with your pool in the summer! :)
After swimming Taylor had gymnastics, and this week happened to be bring a friend to class week. Taylor's friend Amber came with her, and they had a fun time!

Tuesday June 24, 2014

Tuesday was quite the eventful day. I had told Tucker that he could invite his friend, Caden to come to Mobuis with us, and of course, he also wanted to invite Owen. I love Owen and he is already like part of the family. So, we headed down.
These boys are so silly! I love watching my kids have fun and enjoying their friends. I'm a firm believer that kids should enjoy their childhood!!!

Caden is such a cutie! I'm hoping that they get in the same class again next year at Sunrise...
Then they discovered that they were being videoed and had to shake their booties...

I love the way this dude just chills in his stroller:
I also love that little smile and the big ol' cheeks!!!
This girl is obsessed with gymnastics, always wanting to wear her gymnastics clothes and  practice practice practice!

I had to meet a guy to sell him an old camera bag that I had on craigslist and he was running a few minutes late, so we played out in front throwing paper airplanes for a while.
This is where the exciting part comes in. On the freeway, on the way home, these kids kept on pulling up next to me on the passenger side in a little truck yelling at me. I was ignoring them thinking that they were just being stupid because I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong. They kept on coming and coming. Finally, the slowed down, got behind me and then next to me on my side, and finally I looked over at them. And they yelled, 'Your tire is flat!' So, I pulled over in the Fred Meyer parking lot on the Freya exit. Sure enough the tire was flat! I called Ben who came and saved us. He put the spare on and told us to go straight to the mechanic shop. The weird thing is, is that I never heard a pop or anything. The can wasn't doing anything strange, or feeling wobbly or anything.
My hero:
So glad I married such a handy man!
