Tucker Soccer...

Tucker also played soccer this season and while it was busy trying to juggle both sports, at least the only Saturday activities were the soccer games. The rest of the week were soccer practice and baseball games. He did miss Cub scouts for the whole 6 weeks of baseball and soccer, and that kind of sucked, but hopefully next spring he'll have decided one sport or the other so we don't have to do two like this again.
I liked going to his practices and just playing with the kids since the weather was getting warmer. And we couldn't really play during the baseball games.

Mostly I just chased this guy around so he wouldn't hurt himself. I can't believe there was actually a time I was worried about his mobility. He just goes and goes and goes and never stops now!!!

Exploring Adams Elementary...
Mostly this little man just yelled at me to follow him and help him! :)

I guess I somehow managed to only take pictures at his practices! :) Also, not all boys could be there during the picture day, so I offered to take the pictures after a practice one day. I had some extra soccer folios from a few years ago, so I put together soccer folios for all the families. It was fun to do, and I realized I love doing things like this. This is what I love about photography, doing thinks like this for my family and friends.
Coach Duane Poffenberger, Tucker, Taylor, Joseph, Owen, Coach Mortensen, Cody, Max, Henry, and Milo.
My cute little soccer player:
He wanted Jackson to get in a photo with him, but Jackson wouldn't have anything to do with that. Surprise Surprise, the stinker! :)

I love this boy of mine. I'm not sure he's destined to be a soccer player, he's not super aggressive, and it may have to do with the fact that, as much as I love Duane and Wes, they aren't soccer players either, and I'm not sure he's learning a ton of skills. I love that he gets to play with his friends, and that he has fun playing, that is really important to me right now, but, I think that if he continues with soccer, I'd rather him be with a coach who knows more about soccer and teaching the skills.
Anyway, another season in the books. :)

Tucker plays baseball...

This big guy started baseball. I tell you what, I'm not sure I can handle the pressure of my children in sports. I had no idea that kids sports were so political and competitive. What happened to just enjoying being a 3 sport kid? There are already formed teams and elite teams in the SECOND grade!!! Tucker really wanted to get on a team with his friend, Carson, but Carson's team was already full so he was put in a random team, which we ended up really liking, so it worked out, and on one hand, I'd love for him to stay on that team, the families were all so great, but on the other hand, if he's going to continue in baseball, I'd like to get him on the best CV team, so that he can play together with the boys he'll be with growing up, and so I'd love to get him on that other team, so it's just hard. But... the point is he had fun. Also, my friend Shar told me one time to not put my kids in t ball, that it's excruciating, so I didn't, and that was another reason that there were already formed teams, because a lot of the boys have been together since t ball. But I am glad I didn't have to sit through t ball, and I know it will all work out, but it's just stressful because I want him to be on a team with his friends.
Anyway, enough of the rant. Tucker had a great season and got on a great team with a great coach, they were the diamondbacks and he had so much fun. He always has fun, and is luckily a pretty easy going and flexible and social kid and we had a good time with new teammates. He played for the Spokane Indians league, so his season opener was at the Indians Stadium and was so much fun. I didn't go, I think because I wasn't feeling well and I was sad I missed it. But Ben took him and said they had a good time.
My cute baseball player:
It's still coach pitch, but Tucker was playing in the pitchers position:
And up to bat. I think he'll be a good little player, he has a good arm! Just needs to hone his skills a bit! :)

Me and Taylor had just as much fun with our friends as Tucker did playing with his friends. I found out that one of my friends I used to work with at CHAS had a son on Tucker's team. Her name is Julie and I just loved her. We worked together only for the four months that I went back to CHAS after I had Tucker, so she totally remembered him from when he was a newborn. Then right after I left CHAS, I guess her and her husband got pregnant and had a little boy, Isaac! So fun, so, the boys played, the husbands watched the games intently and me and Julie and Dana, another cute mom from the team watched these cute girls. We ended up all kind of taking turns bringing activities, coloring, bubbles, snacks, etc... to keep these cute girls entertained: Taylor, Abby and Kenzie.

Playing with bubbles:

We rotated between two fields, and the games were on Tuesday and Thursday nights, so it was nice to have our weekends free, but it meant no practice, just game after game after game. Every now and then we'd have a Wednesday or Monday night practice, but it wasn't every week. But I kind of liked it, I mean, they learn so much in games.

My favorite boy, #9:
Uncle Scott and Aunt Kathy were in town one night and came to a game, it made him so happy! :) And, of course, Papa and Kathryn came to some games, too! :)

Outside play....

These two babies of mine are my outdoor lovers. Any chance they get and with the teeney tiniest bit of sunshine, you will find them outside. I'm still getting used to the fact that we can even go outside now, and before I even turn the engine off in the car in the garage, they are playing in the front yard. This particular day, Taylor had even ran upstairs to get her swimsuit on before I even notices she was gone!
Anyway, I had just gotten these pots out to figure out how to arrange them with flowers, and the kids were all over it!

This boy loves the outside so much! I will often find him out there just playing by himself, he doesn't even care! I found him just sitting throwing rocks one afternoon and he was just in his happy place. I love it, I would much rather have my kids outside playing.

Oh, I love him so much!
Jackson has been begging to swing for months, but I'm too much of a wuss, and never will go out and push him. But that's what big sisters are for! :) ha ha!

I would like it just a bit more warmer, but I'll take what I can get! :)

Moving time at Kathryn's...

Even though they were living at their new place, my dad and Kathryn still had a lot of work to do at their old houses. So, the kids and I went up to help Kathryn one day.
She had some Krispy Kreme for us when we got there, but no table or anything, so we put the doughnuts on the floor for the kids to eat. I guess Jackson took that as an invite to eat like an animal, and proceeded to eat with no hands. Not sure why, but it was so funny and cute!

We also found this awesome Jack in the box head. Kathryn said that when Andrew was little he wanted so badly to be Jack in the box for Halloween. So she made this for him. I think that is so cute! What a good mom, I don't know that I would have done that! :)
The kids had fun playing with it while we tried to get some stuff done.
Sneaking away to munch on a doughnut, at least he wasn't eating if off the floor this time!

We got a lot done, a lot sold on Craigslist. Kathryn wanted me to sell some stuff on Craigslist for her, but she was scared. So, we got some stuff sold, and moved over to the new house, so it was a successful day. Ben doesn't love the fact that every time I go to help Kathryn move stuff, I end up bring home a van load of stuff for myself! That lady has so much freaking stuff, and it is all cute and nice! Things she wants to get rid of, so I gladly take them off her hands! :) HA HA
The pretty view with the fog at their new house once we got over there:
