We Love Greenbluff...

I mentioned before that I took Tucker up to Greenbluff last week to pick a pumpkin, some apples and go on a hay ride. Tucker was mostly excited about the hay ride! :) We went with a little pre-school group and Tucker had a great time. We heart Greenbluff. We go multiple times each year. :) This was our first time at this particular farm and it was perfect for little kids. They each got to pick out a pumpkin, pick an apple, go on a hay ride (which I opted out of) and at the end they each got a doughnut and some apple juice.
Here are Tucker and his good buddy, Owen...

And reaching in a big bin after learning all about how bees pollinate apples, to pick an apple for himself...

Taking a bite of that big juicy apple (don't tell anyone, but I think mine made me sick, later)...

On the hay ride with Owen and Meg...

I opted out of the hay ride because I didn't want to get sick. I get car sick easily, and already wasn't feeling the greatest that day. For some reason nausea has hit me during the second trimester??? Who knew that could happen? :)
And finally, it was all worth it for just one delicious doughnut!!! :)

I wanted to get these pictures up before our next trip to Greenbluff (tomorrow). :) You just can't do a fall here in Spokane without a trip up!

Baby Showers...

A few weeks ago, I headed down to Quincy for my sister-in-law's baby shower. We were going to do something up here for her, but when that fell through, I decided to make the trek down. I brought Tucker with me because he always loves to see Keyton.
Here's what the boys did while we were at the shower...

They got to watch movies and eat popcorn with Uncle Allen. (Lucky!)
And here's Kelli opening her gift from me. (It is so much more fun to shop for girls than boys!) :)

Last week, my friend Cherie had a baby shower. It's like somethings in the water with the three of us. (My sister in law, Kelli and my friend Cherie) We all had our first babies within a few months of each other and now we are all pregnant again. Cherie is having a little boy.
Luckily for Carly, her grandma brought her a present, too.

Us girls at the party...

It was a diaper themed party, so my friend Katrina and I tried out hand at making a diaper cake-it was a first for the both of us. It was SO easy and we were happy with the way it turned out. It definitely takes more than one person, though. To hold of the diapers together while trying to fit the rubber bands around! :)

I think I am all showered out, though. My friends keep on wanting to throw one for me, but I think I need a baby shower break for a while! :)

On being pregnant...

A productive day for a pregnant lady:

  • Take son to Greenbluff for a little tour to pick pumpkins and apples and go on a hay ride. check
  • Lunch with good friends to celebrate a birthday. check
  • Dinner made and given to brother and sister in law who just had a baby. check
  • House clean. check
  • Birthday present purchased for son's upcoming birthday. check
  • Vomit in the parking lot at the bank. Check!
Oh the joys of being pregnant! :) I just have to remind myself that I DID want this! :)

This pregnancy has been so different than with Tucker. With Tucker I had NO symptoms the entire time. I did get a little heart burn the last few months. But nothing major. I got the heart burn with this one months ago. And I am just wiped out ALL the time! I remember after I had Tucker I told Ben that I missed being pregnant, I felt so good! I think after this one I am definitely going to re think that statement! :) It hasn't been horrible, but I could sleep 24/7. Food really affects me, I really have to watch what I eat or I just feel gross (although this is the first time I've thrown up) and I've been getting head aches a lot with this one. Is that normal??? If this little girl is giving me this much grief even before she enters the world, I'm not sure that I'm ready for this... :)

Little things...

Tucker and I have been a little under the weather these past few days and have just been staying in. But I love spending time with this little man. Since we found out that we were having a girl, I just haven't been able to get enough of this kid. I'm worried, of course. I don't want Tucker to feel like he's going to be getting the shaft when this new little one comes. So I've really been trying to just enjoy little moments with him.
Happiness to him is just throwing all of our extra blankets and pillows on the ground and jumping off the bed on to them. So we've been doing a lot of that...

I came out of the shower the other day to find Tucker on the computer chair trying to get a game started?! What? I couldn't believe it. Maybe just because I don't even think I saw a computer until I was like in the 6th grade, it is so strange to me that Tucker already thinks he knows how to navigate one. He wanted to play a game. So, we've been going to pbs kids and playing some Dinosaur train and Super Why games. I'm still not sure how I feel about this computer game thing at such a young age, but he loves it, so...

And we've been doing a lot of this:

OK, not a lot. I wish it were more. But he did crash like this on the couch the other day and I thought it was so cute. He hasn't done this since he was just a little guy! It made me realize just how much of a BIG BOY he really is!

And speaking of little things...
My brother Nathan and his wife just had their little guy, Carter James Campbell...
We haven't been able to spend too much time with him yet because we've been sick. But I can't wait to snuggle on him soon! :)
We are so excited to have a new little member of our family!

Fall traditions...

I love Halloween! A few weeks ago I was cleaning out our storage room and just decided to leave out all of our fall/Halloween decorations. Ben made me at least wait for October 1st before we decorated, but boy was I ready! :) This weekend Tucker and I made Halloween cookies while Ben was gone on Saturday night at the Priesthood session of Conference. We had a great time and I think Tucker ate his weight in frosting! :)

We made some to take to the Enloe's the next day:

We went to their house today to watch Conference. We love hanging out with the Enloe's! Eric made delicious Pumpkin muffins and Ben made his grits for breakfast and we ended up being there until dinner! :) Thanks guys!
Eric has done an amazing garden this year and we went out and picked some pumpkins in between sessions! I think Tucker thinks that it is his home too, sometimes! :)

Ben and Tucker snuggling during Conference...

A few weeks ago my mom, nephew Keyton, and sister in law Kelli came to town to visit. Ben had arranged my mom to come and watch Tucker while we go out for the night to celebrate our anniversary, but since I had surprised him during the week with that concert, we decided that one celebration was enough. We told my mom this and she still wanted to come to visit, so she did and she brought along a few extra! :)
The three preggers:

Angie is due in October with a boy and Kelli in November with a little girl.
We went to Greenbluff one day to pick Blackberries and Raspberries, but they had just been harvested and weren't going to be ready to pick for another week. Bummer, I was totally ready to make some jam. I'll have to go back another day. So we just let the boys run around in the pumpkin patch and they had a great time. I love Greenbluff this time of year. The weather was unusually warm that weekend and it was so nice not having to bundle up. Of course, my mom had to document every moment! :)
