Silly Jackson...

This boy. Where do I even begin. I love him so much, I can hardly handle it. I know that I have said this with all of my kids when they were this age, but seriously, I don't think I've ever loved a child like him! :) I just want to eat him up like every single day. That's probably because he doesn't talk too much yet! :) ha ha

 

 

 I can't believe what a stinker he can be sometime. He is so stubborn and demanding and bossy so much of the time. But I love him so much. After bath time he insists on running around naked, and I let him because he's my baby. :)

 

 

When I do get a spare  minute to love on him, I just enjoy every minute of it.

 

 

But he is so loveable and snuggly. He wants to be with me and near me all the time. I do love that. Neither of my other kids were like this, he just loves me so much. It's a mutual adoration.

 

 

 

I'm still waking up and working out in the early early hours in the mornings. And one of my favorite things is having this guy wake up with me after I take a shower and snuggle with me.

 

And he's a good eater! Yipee!! He hasn't quite mastered the utensils yet, but he loves shoving that food in his mouth when he gets it! :) Of course, we all think it's the cutest thing ever! :)

 

 

Pulling out every single thing from drawers and cupboards is a favorite past time of his right now...

 

Balls. I have never met another child who loves balls as much as him. He is definitely going to be a ball player one day. Weather it be basketball, soccer, football or baseball, he is happy with a ball in his hands and running and kicking it or throwing it. I kind of love it about him.

 

Oh my gosh, when he wants to think he's a big boy and talk to grandma on the phone-- It's the cutest thing ever.

 

 

Stealing treats any chance he can! :)

 

And throwing tantrums any chance he can....

 

I can always tell where Jackson has been, he leaves his marks everywhere...

 

Oh, and I don't ever get to get go to the bathroom without him in the room with me and the one time that I do shut the door, this is what happened the entire time...

Crafty Taylor...

My little Taylor lady is the funniest little lady. I just love her so much. She has been in a doggy stage for about 3 years now. It drives me crazy--but she just doesn't seem to EVER get out of it.  Anyway, it just means that she goes through like HUNDREDS of pants because she gets holes in the knees ALL.THE.TIME. I have to replace her pants all the freaking time. Here is just one example:

I hated getting rid of so many pairs of pants, so I cut them all off at the knees and viola they were shorts and she all of the sudden had shorts for the summertime! :)

 

This girl loves her crafts. Every single day she wants to do something. Lately it's been her Kinetic Sand. And I have to say, that I like it a whole lot more than play dough!

 

She wanted to make some Thank you cards for her birthday, so we hauled out the big guns. When this girl crafts, she crafts big!

 

But the end results are always the best and the cutest:

 

And there is no stopping her creativity, even when she's outside. It's finally gotten warm enough to go outside and side walk chalk it up!

 

 

She's also discovered my bead collection. I taught her how to make some earrings, and she just went to town. She just catches on to things like this really easy. Totally reminds me of me at this age. Loving everything and anything crafty.

 

 

 

Now she just needs to get her ears pierced to be able to wear all of them. She says she wants to do it for Kindergarten to start next year! :)

This is also how and why her room can go from spotless to this in a manner of seconds! I don't know how she does it! :)

 

 

But I sure do love this crafty and creative and sweet and sensitive and tough girl of mine!

St. Patricks Day...

St. Patrick's day. Woo-Hoo. I think it's fun to do little things. Last year I did the Leprechaun footprints on the toilet thing, and that scared them to death. So, this year I just dyed the milk green and called it good! :) 

 

 

 

Little miss got a new green outfit! :)

 

This is what the little man and I did during the day, and I love my little shopping partner.

Tucker's first pine wood derby...

Tucker had his first pinewood derby. I was a little nervous, because in true Ben fashion he waited until the very last minute to help him finish it. We went online and found a design that he wanted, and Ben made it happen. It was perfect for him, and he loved it so much!  

 

They left these little holes for the weights, they had to go to weigh in early and didn't know how much room they had to work with.

 

 

 

Anyway, it was a fun night! I had never been to one before. The very first race he won his heat. To say he was excited would be an understatement, and from there it went a little downhill, but not awful! :) He ended up getting 7th overall, and he was pretty happy with that. Not too happy because he wanted to get better, but it was still a fun night!

 

 

And they even had a play area for the little kids because it does get a little long!
