zoo...

We got into Alabama Friday night, rested Saturday and as we were getting ready for Church on Sunday, Taylor started throwing up, just a little and she didn't seem very 'sick' so we just kept her home from church and kept her separate and made sure she got some good rest and by that evening she was eating and acting just fine. We thought that that was the end of it. So, on Monday we loaded up the kids and headed to our favorite Mexican restaurant in Wetumpka for lunch and then to the zoo! Probably not the smartest idea after having a child throwing up. I'm sure it didn't help the situation filling their bellies with thick greasy Mexican food! :) But we still enjoyed our day and after lunch hit up the zoo...It's tradition. We have to hit up the zoo at least once while we're in Montgomery. The zoo is awesome, a perfect size and the kids always enjoy it. What isn't wonderful usually, is the heat, but we endure and there are misters all throughout. My favorite part is the train. I would be happy if this was the only way we did the zoo, but the kids want to actually SEE the animals! :) Those darn kids! :) It's tradition to get a picture with the engine. This tradition started back when there were only like 6 or 7 grandkids, before Tucker even, and now we are 15 strong in the Pyper family! :)
