I didn't know this, but apparently the 3rd birthday is also a big one to celebrate for the Hispanic culture. Like the 15th is celebrated with a big wedding like quincenera, I guess the 3rd birthday is big, too. So, Odalis turned 3 and there was a HUGE celebration. It was so much fun to be a part of though. Ben was dying at the extravaganza of it all, and vowed that our children would never have a party as gradiose as this, but it was a great time! :)
I mean, we're talking centerpieces like no other, cake pops and balloons...
And a candy bar...
Lots of fun friends, though! And it really was a great time!
TWO cakes!
My three amigas. :) ha ha, I'm so funny! Maria, Sonia and Antonia...
Bouncy house complete with Alex showing off his skills...
Los Hombres...
Cute Kylah and Lilly...
Of course, no fiesta is complete without delicious food and LOTS of it!
Melissa, Stephanie, Angie and Ashleigh...
Yulissa found her son...
My favorite part of the night was the kites, for sure! It was such a beautiful and perfect summer evening...
And, of course, the pinata...
And they had a second one that Juan made himself full of just balls. They let the adults do that one, and of course, Ben was first up!
Yulissa also had a go...
And also, of course, dancing and eating the cake to end the night. It was such a fun party. We are so lucky to have such great friends from our branch who are like family.
