We left for Utah bright and early. Here are some good shots that Tucker got from the car ride down:
{I love Taylor's face in this next picture. Pretty much sums up her attitude sometimes. Little miss sassy pants!:)}
Conference weekend was spent at the Enloe's. Delicious Cafe Rio and cards with the old gang. Just like the good ol' times! :)
I knew I was in Utah when exactly at 8:10 on Saturday night we were at the grocery store and in walk a flood of men and boys in their white shirts and ties. I am sure that their wives had them stop by on the way home from the Priesthood session. Only in Utah! :)
Carter calls this little cubby hole in their hallway his castle. The boys played in it all week!
We ate out. LOTS! Like every meal. I would eat out every meal if my budget (and husband) would allow. Sharlene is the same way. You get us together and it's no good! :)
Here we are at the Harley shop. I came to this little joint when I was down here with my dad a few years ago. It is called Marley's and it is inside of the Harley shop. They have the best fries and sliders. We had to stop!
Taters loves bath time. Even at the Enloe's!
Speaking of, here is Tucker getting ready for bed at the Enloes. He looked so cute up there on his stool, I had to get a picture.
What wasn't so cute, was the fact that I had to share a bed with Tucker & Taylor! I brought a pack and play for Taylor, which of course, she didn't want to sleep in! And I thought a king sized bed would be just fine for Tucker and I to share. Not so! My children are crazy sleepers! I took this picture when I woke up one morning, this is seriously how Tucker ended up!
We went to one of Hayden's soccer games one day. This little girl really liked it (maybe a future soccer player?) and was all smiles the whole time!
Sharlene told me before we got there that she was going to put me to work. She said I had to earn my keep! And we did work! I helped her get her house in order and things hung on the wall! We were WAY proud of ourselves for the work we did!
Not too shabby if I do say so myself! :)
So you can't go to Utah without stopping by Temple square. I thought for sure we would go there at least once during our trip. But we never did! So we did, on our way out of town, just the kids and I. The plan was to leave Alpine on Saturday morning, I had to stop in SLC to drop off a package anyway, to a friend from his mom. Then after a quick stop we would head up to Logan to eat dinner with my mission president and his wife and an old companion who both live up there. I would stay the night with my mission president, to go church with them on Sunday morning and leave. When traveling alone with small children, I knew the key would be to make frequent stops! :)
So, we headed up to Salt Lake. I thought it would be a good idea, because we were short on time, to just meet at the top of the conference center. I could show Tucker the temple and take some pics and be on our way. We could also meet Chris there to give him his package! :) When you go to the roof of the conference center, you have to be escorted. We happened to be escorted by this 90 year old woman who insisted we take the tour of the top of the conference center. It took like TWO hours! :) We couldn't get out of it! :) But luckily we did get some pics! :) And have some great memories of breaking out of the conference center to tell! Seriously, like climbing over fences, shoving my children through the holes in the gates just to get out of there! :) Good times!
Here is my attempt at taking a picture of Tucker with the Temple in the background. Notice my hand in the picture having to hold him back! :)

I don't know if I'd ever want to live there (no offense, Utahans) but I do LOVE visiting! So many great memories there!
Although we had such a great time in Utah, we were so excited to get home to daddy!
